feeling stressed... stress brings a lot upon my body: body aches, muscle pains, migraines, feeling like vomiting at all moments... THE FUN STUFF.
here is some encouragement to give me when I feel I don't have any more to give:
Habakkuk 3:17-19 -- Though
the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce
of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off
from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in
the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. GOD, the Lord, is
my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my
high places.
James 1:2-4 -- Count
it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you
know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let
steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and
complete, lacking in nothing.
Jeremiah 17:7,8 -- “Blessed
is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a
tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does
not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not
anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
Matthew 11:28-30 -- Come
to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in
heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and
my burden is light.”
Psalms 103:1-5 -- Bless
the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives
all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life
from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who
satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalms 55:22 -- Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
1 Peter 5:7 -- Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
and lastly, my favorite on this:
Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Love this, love you.
